When September rolls around each year, America (for the most part) seizes every opportunity for fun fall activities. And why shouldn’t we? Fall is a sacred season—leaves changing, football starting, weather cooling, and pumpkin spice promoting. Before looking at a few fun fall activities below, we want you to consider the events that accompany the autumn season. Fun Services Midwest has opportunities every year to serve back to school events, community fairs, football tailgates, and all-company meetings. There is SO MUCH to love about the next couple of months in Kansas City. The metro area experiences such a beautiful change in scenery, it’s worth taking advantage of every opportunity. Those “opportunities” come on a cool evening walk or brisk Saturday brunch. Start planning today! Below are a few of our favorite areas to frequent come fall in KC:

- Watch local high school football during Friday night lights.

Through Fun Services Midwest, we can supply you with the equipment necessary to DIY! Here are a few popular portable concessions and how one might use them this fall.
- We all know kids love operating lemonade stands in the summer, but what about a cotton candy stand in the fall?! Our Cotton Candy Machine will make any child’s Saturday stand a breeze.
- Consider a hot-dog warmer at a back-to-school event. Is there any better hot-dog audience than grades K-12? And parents should be honest…hot dogs don’t have an age limit!
- The only thing more tantalizing than a warm pretzel with salt and cheese is 10-12 of them rotating in a display case.

The Importance of (Safe!) Community Gatherings
One of the biggest ways our world has changed in the last year is how to gather well. We understand why that’s the case, but there’s something we hope is never lost in the societal shuffle: gathering together in the first place.
A quick note on safety: Not only do we pride ourselves in our impeccable safety record, but we also carry full liability insurance so that your guests can feel safe at our events.
We know there are current hurdles and stipulations, but one of the most joyous things in life is getting together with friends, family, and/or work colleagues—laughing along the way, and enjoying good food and drink in the process. The bulleted list above is obviously not exhaustive, but we did include it to get your creative juices flowing.
