Inflatable Rentals to Enhance your Family Reunion or Fall Festival

The fall season in America means three things: pumpkin spice, Thanksgiving, and debating when it’s socially acceptable to start playing Christmas music. Honorable mentions for fall include Halloween, football, and inflatable rentals. That’s right! Studies show that just behind Halloween and football, Americans most value an inflatable rental right in the heart of autumn.

OK . . . so that’s not exactly what nationally conducted studies are saying.

But for us, we have inflatable rentals at the VERY TOP of our list—and it’s not just a great idea for a fall party, but any gathering throughout the year! But as we write these words, in the middle of this fall season (with some cooler temperatures!), the focus must be on inflatable rentals and how they will enhance any gathering for your friends and/or family.

More specifically, we’d like to discuss two events that should be on your radar this time of year. Whether you want to go for it and plan either one this year is on you. But allow us to plant a seed in your mind, because life is too short not to enjoy the company of friends and family. And when it comes to autumn, there are two options we highly recommend: 1) a fall fest with friends and 2) a family reunion gathering!

Inflatable Rentals to Build a Party Around

Before we get to those two events in themselves, let’s highlight why an inflatable rental makes sense when bringing the people you love together.

Comfortability. The first component of reserving an inflatable rental for your party is lowering the defenses of your guests. What do we mean by that? Well, when anyone arrives at your property, they’ll quickly take a mental inventory of their surroundings—this is just human nature! Who is at the party, what’s there to eat, and why should they stay? These are typical questions, and we have a worthy answer! Inflatable rentals are fun to interact with alongside ANYONE. They’ll work up an appetite, and they’ll give somebody a comfortable “default” when wondering where to wander at any given party.

Exercise. This is one of our favorite “secrets” at Fun Services Midwest. All the fun that comes with inflatable rentals is actually a wonderful outlet for exercise in disguise! Ask anyone who has ever bounced around for an hour or two, and you’ll hear about how these wonderful pieces of equipment tuckered them out (in the best way possible). Any of our selections will get your guests moving and lighten the mood of the party—exercise is one of the best ways to release endorphins and create a high-quality experience for anyone and everyone.

Fun. State the obvious, why don’t we? At most gatherings in the 21st century, the focal point is (sadly) more often than not . . . a giant television. Although we understand why that’s the case, we refuse to accept it as the societal norm. We push back on that reality and offer a better alternative instead! Consider an inflatable rental for the most fun you and your friends have ever had. Our selection offers such visually stimulating options—your guests will possess mental snapshots, for the rest of their lives, of the best fall party that YOU made an effort to plan.

Fall Fest Party Planning

If none of your friends are already planning a fall fest in 2021, then YOU have an opportunity to set the stage and play “hero” in the process. Here is a brief list of items to consider when planning your fall fest this year!

  • Plan at least two to three weeks in advance to give people a heads up.
  • Maybe four to five weeks if you’re considering a weekend evening!
  • Pick a date and stick to it.
  • Send out evites!
  • Make a mental commitment: whether two people show up or 20, you’re going to have a great time with those involved.
  • Book your reservation through Fun Services Midwest! Contact us today and get ahead of the game.
  • Make a plan for food. You have to feed the people! We recommend party trays from your favorite restaurant.
  • Send at least two to three reminders in the weeks leading up to the event.
  • Decorate in all the best autumn ways possible!
  • Bundles of hay.
  • Bobbing for apples.
  • Hot cider.
  • Candy, pie, and other sweet treats.
  • And board games of course!

These are just a few ideas to get you started. We’re confident you can take a part from here and make it a success for your friends this fall.

An Autumn Family Reunion

Yes, you can play “hero” for your friends. But you can also be the one to step up in your family this year! And who knows—maybe start an annual family tradition!

After a wild 2020, our hope is that nobody takes gatherings of any type for granted. But for family especially, it’s important we capitalize on lost time together. Kick things off with your own “fall fest” themed family reunion. You can apply many of those bullet points above to planning your own family reunion.

A gathering with your friends is always a good time. After all: “Friends are the family you choose!” But there is something special about the lineage you were born into. Maybe it’s an uncle you haven’t spoken with in a while, or a sibling who usually just asks you about work or sports.

A fall family reunion will help your family go beyond the standard autumn talking points—football, holidays, and pumpkin spice lattes—to discuss the more important things of life. And while you’re talking about those important life realities, why not challenge your older siblings to an obstacle course race in the process?

Sometimes the best way to get together with family as adults is to remember how much fun it is to be a kid.
