The holiday season means it is time to gather! As friends, family, and work colleagues—tis’ the season for gift giving and holiday singing, yes, but also something much more important: Thanksgiving. “Thanksgiving” as in the holiday? Of course! But also, on a deeper level, Thanksgiving is an attitude to reflect on in the months ahead. Every year, society gets a two-month reminder of the importance of community and what it means to be thankful for what we have been given. Ideally, these two months of recognition propel us in the 10 other months of working and living. Therefore, we want to take some time to list what we’re thankful for, at Fun Services Midwest, year round. From team building activities to summer backyard parties (made complete with inflatable water slides), our team has SO MUCH to be thankful for.
As an events company, we operate on three specific words: successful, memorable, and FUN!
But there’s an important twist when it comes to those words—we only consider our work “successful” if you’re 100% satisfied with your event. In other words, our most memorable moments are your most memorable events. The most fun we have on a regular basis comes with watching the men and women at Fun Services Midwest events.

It’s funny that a close second to kids, one of our top audiences is adults! This just shows that there is a “childlike” heart in all of us—even if some just need to dig a little deeper to find it. When we say “adults” we mostly mean in a work-related setting. Since 2020, the workplace has shifted A LOT and bosses are dreaming of ways to enhance on-the-job experience for their employees.

An Inflatable Obstacle Course to Remember
It’s one of the most straightforward answers to making a memorable party for anyone: have everyone at your party bounce around a giant inflatable obstacle course.
An idea that’s so crazy . . . it just might work! How do we know that? Because we’ve seen it work for a couple of decades now. Businesses get caught up in the rat race and social norms of a typical “happy hour” but don’t realize how “happy” those times could be. (We also ask “Why have just one happy hour?” when you could have a day full of inflatable festivities?)
Sometimes the easy answer is the right answer.

When Thanksgiving hits each year, there’s so much to love about the holiday season itself—food, parades, and an appropriate mile marker of when it’s finally OK to play Christmas music.
